UK Holiday Part 2

The second week of holidays was spent mainly in Scotland. We drove from Norfolk up through the Yorkshire Dales to Edinburgh. We visited Stirling Castle, the Wallace Monument, the statue of Robert the Bruce in Bannockburn, Edinburgh Castle and the Royal Mile. Such a trip through history left me in awe. We then caught a ferry from Ardrossan to Brodick and the Ilse of Aran. This was my most favourite place! The photos above are of Brodick Castle and a coastal ruin. Aran was magical with the most stunning and diverse scenery. We then moved on to Troon and after a days delay were on our way to Larne and Northern Island.
